Weekday Mornings
Four Seats · Three Origins · One Conversation
A four-seat tasting bar where the roaster walks you through three estates side by side — same origin, three brew methods, one conversation.
"You won't order the same way twice."

Evenings, by Reservation
Eight Seats · Six Courses · Six Weeks
Eight seats, six courses, changed every six weeks around what the Khan Market sabzi wallahs are actually selling that month.
"The menu follows the market, not the calendar."

Daytime, Booked by the Hour
Real Desks · Real Outlets · Two-Coffee Minimum
A quiet upper floor with proper desks, real outlets, and a two-coffee minimum instead of a laptop ban.
"Built for work that actually needs quiet."

Friday Nights, From 8
Live Trio · Candlelight · Short Cocktail List
Friday nights, a three-piece trio plays the courtyard from 8, the espresso bar swaps for a short cocktail list, and the lights come down by half.
"The courtyard changes its mind after dark."

By Arrangement
Twelve to Twenty Guests · Guided Cupping
The lounge, closed to the room, for twelve to twenty guests — a guided cupping, a chef's pairing, or simply a table no one will walk past.
"The one room that closes its own door."
Khan Market, New Delhi
Naina Verma trained as an architect in Ahmedabad and spent six years restoring havelis before she ever pulled a shot of espresso. Atelier No. 9 began as a sketch of the courtyard itself — the old stone arches, a jali screen salvaged from a demolition in Daryaganj, light moving across the floor by the hour.
The coffee came second. The room came first. That order has never reversed.
Every bean on the bar is traceable to a single estate — Baba Budangiri, Chikmagalur, the shade-grown plots of Coorg, the Araku Valley cooperatives in Andhra Pradesh. We roast in small batches twice a week, never more than we can sell fresh, and we publish the cupping notes on the board behind the bar, not on a laminated card.
It is, in the end, a very old Delhi instinct: buy from someone you know, in season, and don't apologise for the price.
"We didn't want a cafe that photographed well. We wanted one that held up at 7am with one customer, and at 11pm with forty."

“I've taken three client calls from the workroom upstairs. Nobody's ever asked me to lower my voice.”
“The Founders' Table session is the only networking event in Delhi I've gone back to twice.”
“My hotel concierge sent me here for 'real Indian coffee, not a hotel lobby.' She was right.”
“Naina kept the original jali screen. Everyone who knows old Delhi notices it within a minute.”

Ninety minutes with our roaster — origin, roast, and the davara-tumbler pour, hands-on for eight guests.
An off-record dinner for twelve early-stage founders, hosted by Naina — no pitches, just a long table.
Two local printmakers exhibit on the courtyard walls for the month, opening with a quiet evening reception.
A small mehfil of shayari and ghazal readings in the lounge, paired with the evening cocktail list.
A guided cupping through three Coorg origins, paired with the chef's bite-sized menu.
